The metabolic process is essential to one’s overall health and wellbeing. Metabolism is the process where the human body receives energy from food consumption. It is through exercise that one can speed the metabolism process. This process has proven effects of lowering the blood pressure, cholesterol and any other related vitals of the cardiovascular system.
When the body lacks exercise the metabolic rate is slower. Food consumption is then stored as sugar in the human body, which is then turned into fat. Thus creating a malady of health issues such as high blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, renal failure etc.
The NIH (National Institution of Health) one of the world's foremost medical research centers and other scientific studies has shown that a lack of cardio and or physical exercise can lead to a poor circulatory system and poor health. Independent studies provided by major universities have also concluded the same.
One such study on a group of six individuals demonstrates this. The group f six were divided into two groups. Three were to exercise and workout using cardio and the other three were not to exercise. After the two week study period concluded it was noted that the participants who exercised and workout using cardio had significantly lowered their cholesterol, lowered their blood pressure and had a better breathing pattern than their counterparts who were sedentary.
